# LaalPen (लाल पेन)

> LaalPen is an answer-copy evaluation service for Indian civil-services aspirants. Students upload a scan of their handwritten UPSC CSE or State PCS mains answers and, within minutes, get marks for every question, examiner-style red-pen remarks on their own pages, a model answer and an answer-structure flowchart - in Hindi or English.

## Key facts

- Exams: UPSC CSE mains (GS I-IV, Essay, Ethics, Optionals) and State PCS mains - BPSC, UPPSC, MPPSC, RAS (RPSC), CGPSC, UKPSC, HPSC, JPSC and others.
- Languages: Hindi and English. Hindi-medium answers get Hindi remarks and Hindi model answers.
- What a student gets: marks per question; remarks written beside the exact lines; strengths, missing points, factual errors and language slips; a model answer sized to the marks (about 15 words per mark); an "error map" and an ideal Introduction-Body-Conclusion flowchart for each answer.
- How answers are judged: four dimensions - content, structure, presentation and language - calibrated to mains marking bands. Practice feedback, not an official result.
- Turnaround: usually 2-5 minutes per copy.
- Pricing: first copy free (up to 5 pages). Billed per page: 12 pages = 1 credit (a 6-page copy uses 0.5 credit). Starter ₹199 for 10 credits, Pro ₹499 for 30 credits. Coaching institutes: pricing by batch size on request.
- 30-day plan: three original 10-mark questions a day across GS I-IV, in Hindi and English.
- Free printable answer booklets (A4 PDF, with QR code): 12-page practice copy, UPSC GS full test (52 pages), UPSC Essay (26 pages), BPSC and State PCS full tests (64 pages). When a student writes on a LaalPen booklet, the marks table on its cover is filled in automatically.
